my love for MY love and a Dayspring Giveaway!

Sorry for a late Valentine's post, but who really needs a day of the year to express their love for their husband.
I am such a list person, so what better way to use my talents than to list how I adore him who I love dearly!

~ He makes me laugh. I mean rolling on the floor, almost pee my pants, my side is hurting and I cannot breathe laughing. (this does not actually hurt)

~ He's the most soft hearted man underneath his lovable stubborness. He always means well and that shows. (although the stubborness is kinda sexy sometimes.)

~ He knows me. He knows when I need a break and makes me take it. He knows when I need coffee, and makes it. He knows when I just need a hug, and gives me plenty.

~ He knows when I'm just toasted with the kids. He takes them and plays without me asking and roughhouses with them. It makes me happy to hear them just laughing and giggling away with their dad in the next room.

~ He's not perfect. And I love this. Because I'm not perfect and it's easier for us to love on each other this way.

~He tries to protect me from his stress. While this is bad for him and his health, his intentions are good and that is not only appreciated but loved.

~ and the #1 reason I love him so.......He loves God and his plans for us. He talks to me about what our struggles are and how we need to pray about his next plans for us.

So onto the Giveaway! I was sent a copy of this wonderful Dayspring Heart and Globe print to review. It's just so beautiful and well made. I especially love the story behind it! You have to check it out at the link above.

Incourage is giving away a Dayspring Store credit of $20.
(shipping charges will apply to your order)

*This giveaway will end on Sunday February 20th at Midnight!  I will announce the winner on Monday the 21st.  GOOD LUCK!

***You get 1 entry just for leaving a comment!  Tweet or Facebook about it for 1 entry each.
Leave a comment for each entry.     (You Must include @funkyfaithgirl and @incourage in your tweets)

What I love about Dayspring and everything in the Incourage store is that they all express Gods love for us. I've got different things spread around my home and it's such a wonderful feeling to just see His word everywhere in your home.

Here's where I'm putting mine in my home, sorry for the paint on the walls but we're still deciding on colors, and our house is still a work in progress!

* I did receive a free product for review, however the opinions are all mine and sincere.

Blog Design by Mommy Monologues-Vday giveaway #3

I'm happy to have Kate over at Mommy Monologues here today. I love her, she is so sweet and she always keeps it real! She is offering TWO giveaways today!  How Fab is that?!

*First-She is offering one of her premade designs. These are semi-customizable.

*Second- She is ALSO offering one of her Coach Bag packages.

(This does not include the cost of an istock image)

Here's more about her:

Hello! My name is Kate. I live on a very tight budget since my husband and I made the decision for me to be a stay-at-home mom. I couldn't afford to spend the $$$ on a blog design like I wanted. Which led me to start doing research on how to do blog design, change elements, add signatures, fiddle with the Blogger HTML coding, make menu bars, etc. My mother-in-law asked me to set up a blog for her, so I did a design as well, & then she advertised to everyone that I did her design & to hire me. I almost passed out, I actually felt like I had NO idea what I was doing. But I got my first order after her post & the rest is history.

I love, love, love being able to "Beautify the Blogsophere" one blog at a time. I know how valuable a person's blog is, so I feel very privileged that Leigh asked me to be a part of her Valentine's Day Giveaway! Good luck & I look forward to working with you!

Studio Jewel- Valentines Giveaway #2

Lisa from Studio Jewel is fabulous.  I only met her online a couple of months ago when I got a word of the year necklace from her.  She has such a passion for working with metal and fire, which is really inspiring.  Her jewelry is so unique and just plain funky- which of course I LOVE!  She is such a funny yet down to earth woman.  Here's a little bit about her:

Artist Lisa J. Lehmann is as passionate about jewelry as she is about life.
Her creative spirit and eye for beauty in all things is reflected in her unique ability to blend the color, shape and texture of metals into soft, fluid and subtle designs that impart an easy elegance.
Each StudioJewel original is personally conceptualized and designed by Lisa, and meticulously handcrafted using the finest materials. Her eclectic collection fuses modern inspiration with natural elements, and often juxtaposes different metals and gemstones to create a touch of color or a twist on a classic.
Lisa loves the limitless possibilities of working with metal and the effect of careful manipulation, by stamping, forging or heating, which can translate something dull and lifeless into stunning, wearable art.
She also loves a good story, and many StudioJewel designs carry their own memories, created for one-of-a-kind moments, a special occasion or to celebrate life’s small victories.
In addition to creating ‘shining stars’ in her home-based studio, Lisa is also raising shining stars in the form of four amazing kids, three of whom she homeschools. She lives with her husband, children, two golden retrievers and a fish in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

My FavOrite pieces right now!

And this piece has a great story....she created it for her daughters.

She is giving away a $50 credit to her store.  This would be fabulous gift for yourself, a daughter or mother.  It's really hard to choose!  Here's how to enter:

Red Letter Words Valentine's Giveaway #1

I'm so excited about my Valentine's giveaway this week!!

I'm kicking the Giveaway off with Red Letter Words!  I got the wonderful chance to meet Dee at Blissdom several weeks ago.  She is just a doll and I love her.  She's so down to earth and really loves her work.  Here's a little bit more about her and Red Letter Words.....

I’m Dee Kasberger, the artist and designer of Red Letter Words. I’m a wife, a mom of four, an artist, and somebody who believes in truth and beauty. To me, everything is made more beautiful when it’s comfortable. There’s nothing in my home that’s so precious it’s untouchable. Maybe you’re the same way.

As a Christian woman, one of my hopes is that my art connects people to the unchanging truth of God’s word and reminds them just how much God loves them. Red Letter Words takes its name from the words spoken by Jesus in the New Testament, which appear printed in red in some editions

Here's me and Dee at Blissdom.  It was so fun to meet her.
Head on over to Red Letter Words to find out more about her and see her amazing art!  Here's my favorite piece right now....which I'm sure will change.

For the giveaway Dee is giving away a 12x12 cafe mount print -- winners choice!  This does not include custom prints and is only open to the US.

To Enter: Head on over to Dee's shop and tell me what your favorite piece is and where you would put it in your home.  Giveaway is open until February 12 at 12midnight.  Winner will be chosen and announced on February 13th.

Gussy & The Pleated Poppy-ThankYou!

A couple of weeks ago I won a giveaway over at Gussy. (She's fabulously fun and cute and cool by the way).
This is the gift I received from Lindsey over at The Pleated Poppy. She is a so sweet and works so hard to make the cutest stuff. I got a wristlet, which is so cute in person and is the biggest wristlet I've ever owned. It's more like a clutch, which is fabulous. I also got one of her petal pushers in gray. LOVE IT! I can put it on my purse, jacket, scarf, hair, etc.....I might just need more in about 5 other colors. Hmmm. Why don't you head over to her shop and look around. Or if you check out her blog, she's got some great writing. I'm so grateful for these ladies who love to share their gifts and do giveaways. It helped to put a smile on my face.

And this is how I carry it for right now. I may get another flower to switch it up or throw it into my tote while I have the load of kids with me. It's fabulous!

So blessed....gifts galore!

Last week, I was more than in shock when I got an email while riding (not driving) in the car.  I screamed and jumped up and down (sitting down).  My husband looked at me like I was a little crazy, until I told him that I had won a Gussy giveaway!
{by the way, Gussy is a household name in our home, along with my other online friends. My hubs knows all about them you would think we're really IRL girlfriends.}

Not only did I win just a giveaway, I won the November Sponsor giveaway which included 13 prizes.  WHAT??? 13?  What will I even do with so many thinngs?  I was so ecstatic and couldn't wait to pick out gifts from my prizes.

I will post in a couple of days as I receive all of the gifts, but for now please check out Gussy.  She is fun, spunky and so adorably friendly!  She has great advice on how to start your business online.  She has been so inspirational.  She's a lucky duck who got to quit her full time job, to work at home and sew Gussy things.  And these things are Fab U lous!  I can't wait to get my hands on a new tote in January with the awesome new colors.  She's also just great reading.
